Amy Smith

Founder & Managing Recruiter

Amy Smith is the Founder and Managing Recruiter of ACRS. Since the beginning in 2010, ACRS takes pride in being honest, hardworking, likeable, knowledgeable and trustworthy. It is our priority to make the search process as effortless as possible for all of our clients. ACRS was founded from the principal that finding the best leaders for all nonprofits and foundations will have the greatest impact on today’s most pressing social issues, which in turn enhances the quality of life for everyone in the community. Amy worked five years for a New York City based Search Firm as a senior level contractor handling searches in the nonprofit, architectural and creative industries for national and regional clients ranging from foundations, museums, higher education and human service organizations. Because of Amy’s passion for helping people, she has evolved the firm to be 100% dedicated to nonprofits and foundations.

Amy earned her B.S. from Stockton University and is a board member at the Delaware Center for Justice.  She is currently a committee member for Sheltering Pride, a Philadelphia based initiative that raises awareness and helps to provide stable housing for LGBTQIA youth experiencing homelessness. Amy is actively involved with programs for foster care ranging from mentoring young adults that have aged out of care, to collecting prom wear for youth. Last but certainly not least, she is a wife and mother to her three awesome children.
